Project "Malevich Circle"
In his autobiography, Malevich joyfully wrote about his childhood. He spent it, for the most part, in Ukrainian villages. Primitive rural art, household items, clothes, landscapes - all this had a significant impact on Malevich's subsequent work.
We wondered if Malevich had developed his own version of the vyshyvanka and plahta (embroidered Ukrainian cotton skirt), what would they look like?
This is how the "Malevich Circle" project was born.
